It has been about 3 weeks. I have not received NOA1.

I know the petition was received becouse I mailed USPS, with delivery noteification.

I know the check was cashed, I checked with the bank.

In checking other posts, I can get my case number from the back of the check. I will try that.

What do you think is wrong?

Should I call someone? Who and what number should I call?

Exactly what does the NOA1 look like? Is it in a letter? Post card? Legal Size?

Thanks all

It is an official looking letter saying that they got your packet, and will be getting back to you after review--or some crazy thing...! It took mine about that long...No, longer, cuz I was in Jordan when the option to send in the next packet was still an option, by the time I got home my NOA2 was on its way too and the window had passed for K3 and this case! UGH! Good luck--PATIENCE IS KEY IN THIS CRAZY PROCESS!-Amy

I filed in Jun and haven't received my NOA1 yet. I was on orders somewhere else but used a friend of mine's home address. I ended up calling and getting my receipt numbers. There is a 1-800 number you should be able to call (I don't remember it by hard, it should be on their website www.uscis.gov, or you can google for it), you cycle through the options and give them information and they can find your case and should be able to supply you with your receipt number. The only problem is they (at least the military hot line number) has been having problems lately with their computers so you might not be able to get anywhere just yet. Give it another week or so, if you don't receive anything by then I would call. USCIS (at least VSC) has not been getting info out on time or as promised. I hope this helps at least some.
