Hey, seems MSNBC had it right all along.

Palin Hoping to be Named Ambassador to Africa

‘A Darned Important Country,’ Says Guv

Sarah Palin of Alaska has reached out to President-elect Obama's transition team to indicate her interest in being named "ambassador to the nation of Africa," the governor confirmed today.

Gov. Palin said that although she had planned to continue in her position in Juneau, she was willing to leave the governorship "because Africa is just such a darned important country."

"I have always been very, very interested in the nation of Africa, partly because of it being located where it is," she said. "If you are standing in Africa and you look real close, you can see South Africa."

She added that she had received phone calls encouraging her to vie for the post, including one from French president Nicholas Sarkozy.

In other news from the Palin family, Bristol Palin's fiancé Levi Johnston said he was "totally stoked" about Tuesday night's election returns, calling the results "definitely a game-changer for me."

"The election of Barack Obama means different things to different people," he said. "To me, it means freedom, dude!"

You've been pwned again. You're getting good at it. :P

Shows how much you know - nothing. I post pieces from Borowitz here every now and then. I know good and well what his bread and butter is: Satire. Another big word for you. Look it up. I encourage you.

LOL...This is news? Of course they falsely reported this story fully knowing the source was bogus. Geez, does anyone doubt these people are far lefties over at MSNBC?

Fox would have recinded this story immediately following the disclosure of the false veracity of the source.....

The biased liberal media got caught with their pants down.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Sarah Palin wasn't and isn't a moron.

She sure sounds like one.

From a recent Fox News interview (on the question of whether she will run in 2012):

"This is what I always do. I’m like, OK, God, if there is an open door for me somewhere,

this is what I always pray, I’m like, don’t let me miss the open door. Show me where the

open door is. Even if it’s cracked up a little bit, maybe I’ll plow right on through that and

maybe prematurely plow through it, but don’t let me miss an open door. And if there is an

open door in '12 or four years later, and if it is something that is going to be good for my

family, for my state, for my nation, an opportunity for me, then I’ll plow through that door."

Whether or not this particular story is true - isn't really relevant in light of Palin's godawful interview performances.

Look let's face it the Media loves to Pile on Palin while it gives the other side a complete pass.

Goofy Joe biden had to tell a man in a wheel-chair to stand up before he made any gaff-news.

Of course his debate performance was full of factual error...did we here a peep about it?

My Favorite Joe Biden "step in the sh_t moment" was when he said this...

"Look, all you have to do is go down Union Street with me in Wilmington or go to Katie's restaurant or walk into Home Depot with me where I spend a lot of time, and you ask anybody in there whether or not the economic and foreign policy of this administration has made them better off in the last eight years."

Then we find out Katie's Restaurant has been closed for like 20 years

Does anyone believe Ole Joe is hangin out at Home Depot?

Now had Palin pulled that one.... it would have been two weeks on the news, leading with footage of

a boarded up Katie's.

Before all of you Sarah Palin supporters jump all over me, I will tell you that I did not vote for Barack Obama. I will also say that I agree with many conservative pundits and politicians who question whether she is informed on the issues, and whether she is qualified to become vice president (or president). I have no doubt that Sarah Palin is smart and ambitious. However, I believe she has some major faults which became glaringly obvious to many...both liberal and conservative alike. First, she is woefully uninformed on some major issues. Second, she would not admit it when she did not know something. Third, she lacks the political instincts necessary to attract the independent voters...those in the middle of the political spectrum who are the ones that actually provide the votes which elect a president. Instead, she shamelessly pandered to the rabid red-meat right wing of the GOP. Lastly, she overestimated herself. She was not ready to run for the highest office in the land, yet she surrendered to her ego.

It was not only us voters who watched her. The world was watching too. I felt embarrassed for my country. As for her future on the national political stage...while she can go home and study up on the issues, her performance during this campaign will come back to haunt her. Senator McCain showed poor judgement not only in his choice of running mates, but also in his lack of any vetting process. OK, now you can jump all over me.
