my hubby doesn't really go out at night for non-work related activities... he is working nights though now but even when he was working days the didn't go out, just to school a few nights a week...

I think one girls or guys night a week is good... but not all night :P

I don't go out with the guys, because I don't have any guys to go out with. Almost all of my friends are in Indy or elsewhere. Plus, I just don't "go out". I don't drink much, I hate sports, I don't go to t*ttie bars, I don't do much of anything that would warrant a night out.

Mags stays after work every once in a while and has a few drinks. Not very often. My main away time is during the day, in the form of long bike rides. Unfortunately, it's cold now and I'm a wuss.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

We work way too much to go out without the other. The nights we are lucky enough to be together are spent together.

I don't think one every month would be a bad thing. Once a week is a little much, though.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Usually its once a week for me, and its bcz Adam is at work and I hang out with a gf and have dinner and chat or go to a friends families home and visit after Adam went to work. The latest if I'm out would be 2am, but that is not a usual. When Adam is off work, we go out.

I guess we have just outgrown that, although I don't see anything wrong with having nights out apart or drinks after work, I have done it plenty in my time. We do party a lot together at home though, we use the kitchen as a dance floor and karaoke like fools... neither of us like crowded clubs or anything like that. I guess we are just sad and old

For those couples currently living together, how many nights a week does one partner go out without the other and how late do they stay out? What do you consider acceptable? At what time should the deadbolt be thrown for the night? :P

I think every couple is different. Was your spouse doing this before you got married? If so, was there a discussion and agreement as to what both of you find acceptable...compromise? It's all about communication and compromise.
