Just curious if I'm the only one who can't stand delays/waiting around for things. I love my mom and my sister but they drive me insane! At about noon they're like "ok we're going to go in like 15 minutes so get ready" and then 2pm rolls around and I'm still sitting there waiting for them to be ready to leave! It drives me insane! Most of the time I give up on them and either leave without them or decide not to go. I know I need to work on being more patient, but 2 freaking hours?

Definitely at the doctors office for one. First they make you wait at least 30 minutes after they scheduled you to come in. Then they bring you into the room and check your temp and blood pressure then tell you the doc will be right in... Ummm maybe 2 hours later!? I rather have my temp and blood pressure taken in the front lobby and wait 2hours for the doctor so I can chat with everyone else!

2nd thing that I have no patience for is when I am ready to check out at the grocery store - Walmart for example. There seems to always be someone in front of me that has a buggy full of stuff, debating on whether to get it or not, needs 20 price checks on it, dont know how much is on their EBT card, then takes half the items off their order and leaves all the expensive cold food in the buggy to "be put up" I get annoyed fast on that one, and have lack of patience to stand behind them in line...

You're from Ohio or thereabouts.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Ok, it was Louisiana. "Buggy" puts you in the south during your "Learning vocabulary" years. I've also heard it used a lot in Ohio.

Very true, and it just caught on over here in Ga. Like calling pepsi/coke "sodas"

However, when I talk it comes out strongly like up north... with the exception of buggies and sodas.

I am generally laid back but the one thing that makes me lose it is waiting for calls, when people say they will call at a certain time and they don't. Daniel knows it too and has learnt it the hard way.

I'm the same way with calls. If I say I'm going to call you at a certain time I'm going to call you at that time unless something really really crazy has happened and I can't get to a phone. I'll even call to tell you I'm not going to call you

I have the patience of Job after going through this messed up process.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I'm very impatient. Can't stand late people (if I can be on time why can't they?), late running appointments, waiting in queues, waiting for anything really.

Be ON TIME damn it, and the world would be a better place.
