Overnight the I-485 Petition

I overnight my wife's I-485 petition last Thursday to 131 SOUTH DEARBORN, CHICAGO address. The packet hasn't been picked up from post office. I am not sure if i made a mistake to sent my packet in this address. It was mentioned in the instructions that if you are sending in express then use this address instead. Please assist.

Hello, I sent my AOS application last Thursday, 13 of Nov @ 2:32 pm and it was delivered nxt day @ 9:44 am to Chicago Lox Box. I used the same address as well via USPS Express Mail (Nxt Day Delivery).

And there was a holiday on tuesday.

Well. I think it takes about 1 day and 5 hours from Tucson, AZ to Chicago IL by car. If he sent his package last Thurday, it should be there the nxt day..however, if the package was being sent after the "drop off time"..there's no guarantee that it will arrived the following day. I sent my package last Thursday as well @ 2:32 pm. I did a research from usps website about the drop off time. The drop off time of that post office where I sent my AOS package was around 3:45 pm. My package was delivered @ 9:45 am to Chicago L Box.

Thanks for your reply. I am really getting frustrated with this whole mess. The packet is sitting in the Chicago postal office since last friday and schedule to deliever. The tracking info is shown below:

Arrival at Unit, November 14, 2008, 8:54 am, CHICAGO, IL 60604

I don't what to do at this point since my wife's i-94 is expiring on Nov 18th. I spoke to postal service and they are trying to figure out. Appreciate for any assistance.

Hello, pls look up the tracking transactions for my package..it seems that my package and yours arrived at the same time.

I'm going to assume that your package has been delivered to Chicago. May be they forgot to sign it because look: if your package arrived at the arrival unit the same time as mine probably they will deliver it at the same time not to mention that we're both usng same address. I also started to wonder about my package confimation signature...My package was not signed by the receiver and it was showing the address where my package was delivered. I believe yours got there already.

Listen to this....i called the local postal office and inquire about the packet i mailed. They are saying that they don't have any express mails sitting in their post office. This lady from Postal office was telling me that supposedly it was already deleivered but wasn't scanned. Alright if this is the case its really unprofessional. I hope they didn't loose the packet.

That's very unprofessional. It's ridiculous but may be it's true. Your package might be delivered the same time as mine if you look up on my package transactions. Anyways, let's hope that our packages were delivered on time. Let see if there's something will show up to our mail box this week or may be nxt week. Just keep track your bank account, your check might be encashed soon before your NOA's will arrive. There's always hope for tomorrow, don't despair. good luck to all of us!

What's wrong if it expires, expired i-94 has nothing to do with AOS process, Relax everything will be fine.
