Just found out Carlos has his interview in 1 month!! YAY!

I was unemployed (a full-time student, actually) until a couple of weeks ago - I am now working part time.

For Question 23, do I put my current individual annual income as the total income I will receive by the end of 2008, ,or should I calculate out how much I would earn total in 1 year's time at my current job (from Nov 1 2008 to Nov 1 2009 for instance). Either way, it will not be over the poverty threshold. My dad is serving as a joint sponsor.

Thanks!

Deanne

My wife started her job in July and she multiplied her monthly salary by 5 and filled that in as her current individual annual income.

You may multiply by 12 for stating your current income but even if that number is enough to qualify technically, you may still need a co-sponsor.

We have a co-sponsor so I guess it doesn't matter anyway. If I do it "annually" rather than just the 5 weeks at the end of the year, it would be TEN TIMES higher!

The form asks for current annual income, not current year estimated income or last year's income.
