These are probably simple questions that requires no brainer answers but my mind is currently in hibernation and can't seem to function well now that I am faced with all these AOS forms and requirements (we are still in the very early stage of AOS preparation)... I am hoping someone could help me out here.

Questions for I-485 for K2 visa holder ages 9 and 10 respectively:

1st question. Under the part where the alien number can be found, their visa was annotated: P/A My full name (being the mother and the principal visa applicant)... should I write in the full annotation in the I-485 form (e.g. P/A Maria Makiling) or just write in NONE?

2nd question: Their biological father signed both their birth certificate but I have never wrote his name on any other legal forms requiring fathers name since we parted ways 9years ago, I just leave that item blank... now, I want to acknowledge my husband as their legal father since we are now married, could I write my husband's name on the item for father's first name or should i just leave it blank?

3rd question: My kids are both not of legal age but they were required to sign some papers when we had our medical and also some of the forms for interview @ the US embassy in Manila. Should I let them sign the applicant's certification part of I-485 or should I just print their name and then I'll sign it with annotation "by"?

Thank you very much for all the inputs.

Well, none is a true answer so not a bad choice.

I think they are wanting biological. Don't you have to list your parent's names somewhere. Seems like they should too. I know it was on the form at the biometric appointment this week. About your new husband. I kinda think he would have to go to court and legally adopt them to have his name listed on this form as "father.". I could be totally wrong, but maybe somebody else will come in with a good opinion.

I've read that under 14 do not have to sign, but think it's okay for them to.

Hello Gay :star:

Under the Alien Number, I wrote. . .NONE

I wrote there the name of their biological father.

I let my 11-year-old son signed Part 4 then I signed Part 5 (Signature of person preparing form, if other than above).

For my 7-year-old daughter I just signed for her then with a dash wrote mother. I also signed Part 5.
