Instead of cable, you got a big ol satellite TV dish on your roof or balcony so you can get the arabic tv stations

try 2 or 3 dishes and at least 3 or 4 remote controls so many i could never know how to change a channel but would mess the tv up

I'm proud to say I chose to move to the "desert" and our sanitation services are top notch. We also do buy fresh, refridgerated meat from the supermarket...never seen a fly on anything. And ps...no one I know owns a camel, or lives in a tent.

Now that you have taken the time to assume things about our husbands based on where they come from, should we also assume that because your wife is British (and you say that like you deserve a trophy for it) she must have crooked teeth and b.o.?

Well, in this topic it does no good to let Platy ruin it for you, you know.

I was just thinking about the time I was dying to go to the restroom and was going to the Cairo Airport. When we finally found the restroom outside of the airport, there was an older lady outside the "restroom hole" with the roll of toliet paper. I asked for toliet paper and she literally gave me ONE Square. I needed more than ONE Square. I paid her a pound and asked for more toliet paper and she gave me another square. Finally I paid 5pounds and grabbed the roll of paper, only to find out that when I got into the restroom hole, there was NO TOLIET, just literally a room with a hole in the ground. - That was not a good time!

HA HA HA!!! Try using the "restroom" in the subway system! YIKES!!! Oh my gosh! I thought my kidneys were gonna explode by the time we found the "hole in the floor" in the hole in the ground(hmmmm) and the roaches and the pooo! YUCK!!! My hubby stood outside the door while I was going, to protect me from anyone that may have gone in while I was there- then gave me a stunned look when I left w/o washing my hands!--I had liquid hand sanitizer in my bag, figured it was cleaner than the faucet and or water in that "nightmare!"- come to find out-- I think it was the mens room I was being protected in, but does that really matter?!lol

Got a better "hole" for you. Try using the "hole" on a moving train in Morocco...... Oh what fun seeing the ground move below your feet...

I have to agree, if his post doesn't resemble your situation then why be offended? I am married to an Arab and I don't fit into any of these categories, so it didn't upset me in the least.
