hi Veepee.. If your not planning to go back in Taiwan you can request it now.. just like what I did.. I've been staying here in PI for more than a year after I had a job in Taiwan. I never plan to go back so I request for my police certificate this year via mail. and I had it on my hand now.. but if your goin back again to Taiwan and your goin to stay there more than 6 months that's the time you'll be ask for another police certificate from taiwan. I hope this will help you.. Goodluck!

actually we're not allowed to send cash thru mail (co'z it is not safe)... what I did is I send my application via DHL and you should not tell them that you have a cash on your documents co'z they will not allow you. Then I send my documents with all requirements including $20 dollars cash, it takes less than 3 weeks before I got my police certificate with my change $9dollars cash(I'm happy I got change!). Actually it takes only less than 2 weeks but our post office here in Philippines doesn't work as faster as any other country, they let our documents and letters sleep on their office.. and thats really sucks! anyway good luck again.. I'm glad that I can help you... God bless...

ChoX.. :D:luv:

hi Choxx!! good to hear from actual person who has been in Taiwan too. Iam not ever going back to Taiwan (not that i dont want to :star: ).i was there in 1999 to 2000 (7 mos). So yes i need the police certificate. Does your copy indicates how long is it valid? (e.i. 1 year like NBI? or months only?) Thank u so much if u can add some more information and pls can u send me the link or whom to email (since u received your police certificate via email) .....pls id appreciate any more addtl help and information. thankx again and bless us!

It doesn't include the expiration. But we will be ok with that. here's the email that they send me:

Thank u so much CHOX! ur a blessing! ..........

another question pls????..........how can anyone send cash thru mail? i know this is prohibited so i wonder how that works (but u did that, right?). Also, it says 3 working days upon receiving your request- thats quick i must say but how long does it take for the to and fro mail ? Within a month? or months before finally receiving the Police Certificate(include to and fro travel)?

Thankx again and i hope everything is running smoothly on your side.

actually we're not allowed to send cash thru mail (co'z it is not safe)... what I did is I send my application via DHL and you should not tell them that you have a cash on your documents co'z they will not allow you.

OMG! U are heaven sent!! Yiippee!!!:dance: You've just spoonfed me!:thumbs: Half the battle is won! THank u for the rescue coz i see that as a major roadblock till i find my way. Visajourney & the members are really of great help! I wish to return the favor! God will see that through anyway :star::star: Ill keep u posted till i receive my police certificate from Taiwan. Bless us all!

btw, i did have a hearty laugh with the enclosed change. :wow:that good huh? :hehe: ...its your money anyway. Ops! i shall be sending the money the way u did :luv: (no choice  )
