I think they read the 2012 thread and are stalking up for the apocalypse.

People need to eat brother. Unless of course, the carts were filled with electronics and other inedible items.......

True. But I've really never seen it this crowded there. Maybe some of the more upscale customers are coming to Costco too?

I did some shopping this weekend and there were loads of people in the lines where I went as well. It was nuts!

What kind of store?

I went to the mall and it was pretty packed. Macy's had loads of people and so did places like Abercrombie. I also went to Target yesterday and there was some long lines there too.

Interesting, so it's not just food. People really have lost their minds.

The economy is shite, stores are having massive sales, and greedy children still want ####### for Xmas. Ergo, the stores are going to be busy.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

On my way into Costco, I walked by this screaming child in the parking lot while his parents were assuring him he'd get "lots of gifts" for Hanukkah.

I'd give him yet another dreidel and tell him to STFU.

That would explain why a product that smells (and also looks a lot) like shite, such as spam, would sell more now.
