Anyway,

Yes, this recycled water business is the means of sustainability. We need to tell kids that the water they're drinking are water that has been recycled from fecal matter, urine, etc...

All the water on this planet has been here for billions of years. It is continually recycled. Every drop you drink has, at one point, been part of the urine of someone or some animal. Yes, you drink dinosaur urine. All the time.

You are absolutely correct.

There is no such thing as "pure drinking water" until it's been processed.

Even if you were only to consume drinking water from a rain barrel, there would be other (excuse the expression) downstream

sources of your daily intake that had at some time or other been the byproduct of waste (human, or non-human).

If we knew the processing behind most of the products we consume, we'd be equally as grossed out.

The reality is, there's a lot of "P" in the "gene OOL".
