What kind of filter system do you think these guys use? It's not going to some cheap ####### #### the leaves something as huge as a ####### behind! The water that comes out is pure H2O.

It's water, no ifs, no buts. Why would anyone go 'ewwww'? If the purification process didn't work, well that would be a different thing altogether. I guess the concepts of molecules, elements and compounds passes some people right by...

Yup. It's just science. But people seem to be lacking scientific education in this country. In the navy we made pure water (3 grades actually) out of seawater and it didn't matter if we were anchored in a puddle of our own waste (which we often were). We could only store so much waste water and had to pump it somewhere.

um, yeah... so what's news about that? And why single out London?

Anywhoo, being able to look out my window across the lake and see a water filtration/purification/pumping station, I'm fully aware of what flows in and what's pumped out of the station.
