I could be wrong - but I don't recall any black characters in Neighbours. Period.

Even the criminals were white.

I don't recall any black characters in Friends, either - and New York is slightly more diverse than Ramsay Street in Erinsborough, Australia.

Ayesha Tyler had a recurring role late in the series. I remember it being notable at the time for that very reason.

Aaaaaaaaand, Ross also dated a black lady. She was borderline white because she didn't act black and was some kind of scientist but she was black and that's all that matters.
