I'm torn. I have stock in Ecopetrol and lost a bunch of money recently but then again gas was at $1.99 this morning.

After hearing about alternate fuels for 35 years and seeing no major changes, it's hard not to be cynical.

I hope that we have smartened up this time around and more effort is put into alternative fuels. We should have started in 1973 after the first oil embargo.

I kinda have to agree, and I'm quite cautiously optimistic.

One concern of mine is how long it's taken since Tesla started taking payments for their Roadster, and the delays it's faced in rolling them out. It's been what, 2-3 years? They've only managed to squeak out a couple dozen of them to customers.

It's great to have plans, even better to execute them.
