Just checking to see where they actually come from. Will they come from the place you originally filed your paperwork in Chicago or do they come from the local office that your spouse was interviewed at. We got the approval letter that was mailed on the 5th just curious how long until the green card shows up since we are in Guam. I'm trying to get my wife to Japan because she will work for her sister that has been there for 14 years while I'm in Iraq until late Spring.

Actually not necessarily....

Sandra Landis is the Chief of the Integrated Document Production (IDP) Branch within the Domestic Operations Directorate. This branch oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of three facilities consisting of the Corbin Document Production Facility(KY), the Nebraska Document Production Facility and the Vermont Document Production Facility. Collectively, the Integrated Document Production (IDP) Branch supports USCIS’ mission of developing, personalizing and issuing secure USCIS identity cards that integrate biometric and biographic information. As a result, IDP has become the world leader in the personalization of secure identity cards using optical memory technology. cannot speak about GC since I do not have one yet... but EAD's are mailed from the facility in Corbin, KY...

I got one next day from the stamp on its envelope...

Wherever your GC is coming from it may take a few days to find its way to the right plane to GUM... hopefully USPS is not using ships for their regular mail
