Maybe. I mean I took two semesters of French and all I can say is "oui".

But no, Obama can't speak it at all. He had a TV spot playing on the Spanish channels here in the US and it was awesome, he had an accent but very clear and the tone was perfect. Later on I found out he had 30 minutes to memorize it and recorded it, not knowing the words he was saying.

• He visited Wokingham, Berks, in 1996 for the stag party of his half-sister's fiancé, but left when a stripper arrived

I can vouch for that, I was the stripper :lol:

Sorry, that wasn't me, it was my friend.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

• He plans to install a basketball court in the White House grounds

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/...icle3401168.ece

How reliable is the telegraph?

I watched a special and it stated that he can't wait to shoot hoops in the basketball court at the white house but there already is a court there and they even showed it.

It's probably one of those wimpy regulation sized courts with the hoop at 10 feet. Obama needs an extra 5 for those hops.

• He ate dog meat(Filipinos is popular for this meat) :bonk:, snake meat, and roasted grasshopper while living in Indonesia.

I ate snake meat, bat meat, and others but not dog unless if they were lying to me.

• While on the campaign trail he refused to watch CNN and had sports channels on instead.

I can' blame him. My spouse ignored me when football/baseball/basketball is on.

• He has his hair cut once a week by his Chicago barber, Zariff, who charges $21 (£13)

I pay $30.00 excluded tips for my haircut but not everyweek.
