All you can do is keep trying at diffrent times of the day, you could also try picking a diffrent reason for your infopass appointment from the list. that sometimes works

I hope this won't happen to me although my GC is expired and I never got any letter!.. I tried to make an infopass a few days ago and it gave me one date!... On that date it gave three time to choose from, 7:30, 8:00 and 8:30.. They shouldn't have.. I only live like an hour away and we'll have to fight the insane drivers just to get there.

You could always try giving them a phone call? See if they can get you in that way?

For infopass these early appointments are usually better, you get in & out quicker. I remember having one at 12:30, and it at 3pm I was so ticked off at waiting I just left, as there were still 20 numbers ahead of me.

You can't phone a district office or ASC directly, they tend to have unlisted phone numbers. I found that out the hard way. :(

My wife and I did her paperwork back in October and still haven't heard anything. We did get the letter that extended her GC for a year. Hopefully we will not have to wait a year for her to get her new GC. Though they recently stopped accepting I-751's at the Texas Service and shifted all of them to Vermont. Though we did her Biometrics down in San Antonio. And waiting to hear from USCIS or her new GC. Even though next year we are going for her Citizenship.

06/28/2006 - Commander signed Form 80 allowing me to marry my wife.

06/29/2006 - Got married in Seoul, turned in marriage certificate to the ACS office at Embassy.

07/20/2006 - Turned in I-130 and all documents to the Consular Office at the Embassy.

08/23/2006 - Korean Emabssy tells my wife it will be 3 months before they can interview her.

08/24/2006 - Contacted John McCain's office

09/03/2006 - Korean Embassy contacts my wife and tell her she has her final interview on the 10th of September

09/24/2006 - Wife enters the US as a Permanent Resident

08/07/2008 - Sent Wife's I-751 Paperwork to remove Conditional Residence

10/14/2008 - Did Wife's Bio-metrics at San Antonio USCIS office

Looks like I have to start packing. I called them today - woman who talked to me didn't know anything, case touched in August, no more info available, no infopass appts available at all.....

What am I supposed to do ? Do I need to leave this fantastic country if I don't get my GC on time ?

Anybody ever had this happen ?

Ana
