Hey BTW, does Toyota have a muscle car that can get 26 mpg?

:bonk: those two words don't belong in the same sentence.

Indeed. That's like saying "does Hummer have a hybrid that gets over 30MPG?".

I don't think partaking to Aficionado's ilk (only in real life, not on the internet) is Toyota's MO. Some of us simply use cars to drive from A to B, and want to spend the least amount of money getting there, while, in some fashion, not tearing up people's lungs sitting next to them. For others, it's a bit of a competition in a department related to insecurity.

overall, it sounds like you're cheap/broke, can't afford much other than a shoebox on wheels, and suffer from chrome envy.

I agree kind of..but what about the big families? Say you have more people in your family that can fit in a 4 or 5 seater..so you take 2 economical, environmental friendly cars which both get 30 MPG to go somewhere. Is this practical? I guess it works but then you are also putting out the same emissions and equating to the same mpg as one 15 mpg SUV.

I also said in this thread myself and SO are looking at hybrid SUVs. I also defended SUVs and vans in this topic. Try to read past the little children posting and attacking me for their own problems forming a coherent argument, you'll find it some pages back.

Sounds like you're way off in left field again.

People will do what they please when given the option.

So... if you could buy a NON-gas-guzzling muscle car. At an affordable price... would you buy it?

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Hell, I've actually been in a Roadster while it was being showcased, and I gotta say, if I had the $90K - $110K to fork over for it, they'd have my money already.

GM in Aus is working on a V6 G8 which will have be as efficient as a 4cyl camry.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Yeah, as you know, I'm always comparing my degree to everyone else's, or suggesting how I'm gonna kick some ### and buy people a ticket.

You have made numerous references about your intelligence and the stupidity of others.

Ahh, so people can't actually make a stupid suggestion. You're a-ok comparing degrees, but out of line by suggesting someone's argument sucks. Are you Aficionado's "friend" by any chance?
