damn senior stewardess/stewards

The correct term is flight attendant, they get angry if you call them stewards :P

And that's correct, I feel they should hire nicer and less sour flight attendants, not all of them are but they should take complaints into consideration and put those with bad temper behind a counter where at least they are not enclosed, like in an airplane.

f##k them....they are stewardess and stewards..they are really plane whores.....$5 for a beer..this must be a strip club...

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

people should know by now to not fly Southwest

HAL 9000 has only flown with them once and quality of service wasn't the reason he won't fly with them again. Timeliness was good, fare was good, even had some acknowledgment of my presence on board by the crew. Too many horror stories though, coming from all kinds of people.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

are u stupid? unions are not bankrupting anyone....greedy corporate officers are...who makes more....union folk are the lowest paid people. did u even stop the american people are the ones not buying american products causing bankruptsy. did u ever thing the economy has anything to do with that? open up ur eyes and shut ur mouth and stop blaming the working class citizen for the problems in america.

No as I am not a union worker. Unions are a waste of time and serve no purpose in a mature economy like America's. The best thing American auto manufacturers can do is close ALL of their plants in the north and move them to the south, like Toyota and others from abroad have done. Not only will they get better cars but they will also operate in a Union free environment.

I also do agree that it is a double edged sword considering where the head offices of these Manufactures are located. The management team has not moved with the times. What works in the midwest will not work in the rest of the country. Move them to a successful part of the country where there is a better pool of managers and engineers. Have you looked at the build quality, styling, performance of the pontiac G8. Now compare that to the American built G6. The G8 also outsells the Camry in Australia.

well i am a union worker and let me tell u if i wasnt we would make minumim wage and have no health care. just the other day i asked for a week of vacation in january....yes the month no one takes vacation....and got denied. without my union there to fight for my right to take a vacation i would be working in january. thank god for unions!!!

Denied? I would have thought they should be idling all of their plants and begging for people to take leave. They must really have bottom of the barrel managers there.

The problem with unions is that there is no flexibility and they not interested in efficiency. I have always found it funny how the unions don't setup and run their own companies and would rather tell someone how to run their company. I just hope UAW realizes that if GM files for bankruptcy their stranglehold and contracts are pretty much null and void.

Does the UAW every wonder how and why Toyota is doing so well. First thing is that they do not built plants in the north / midwest, hire managers in polyester suits or allow Unions to tell them how to run their business. Unions and demographics have a big influence on culture and performance in the workplace. One of my family friends hired a number of workers over the years from Ohio and he said they had to eventually fire all of them because there was a lot of back talk, union style, and they simply did not perform.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Again truth eludes you, dear friend.

More specifically here.

And here too.

Indian is not Detroit now is it. Where is their #1 selling vehicle built? Where is their new prius factory going?

Biggest mistake they ever did was setting up shop in Detroit and not diversifying their R&D and management teams. How can you expect the engineers and managers of a dying city to deliver a modern product. Not going to happen. A team in CA is much more likely to design a better car than someone in Detroit. Different culture, different attitude, different exposure to other foreign cars and different talent pool to access.

it seems to me since nine eleven the airlines have become a nightmare for a lot of reasons and that poor guy happened to end up with a person that needs schooling in people skills

since 9/11 it seems like a few flight attendants have taken up new positions are security guards armed with peanuts and one mean glare.
