Hi All,

Well my time has finally arrived! It's been a long time coming, since I've had my Visa since mid-July! I am incredibly excited / nervous at the same time!

So Glen's flight arrives in Toronto at 11am tomorrow, we then proceed to pick up the UHAUL. Drive over to my sister's where all of my furniture is being stored in her garage, load it all up... Have a nice dinner with the family, and then we plan on getting to bed EARLY because I want to leave by 4am Saturday for the border (Queenston/Lewiston)... miss the busy shopping crowd and all that! I'll be driving my car and Glen the truck right behind me... We *hope* to get to Philly by 2-3 in the afternoon Saturday as his family is going to be waiting for us to unload everything and we'd like for it to still be light out...

I can't believe the day is here after this long journey... which I know is just beginning really but I can't wait to finally be together! We get married the following Saturday.

See you on the other side hehehe :D

WOOOOOOO! You are coming North East bound! We are lucky to have ya, girl. Hope it all goes well and hopefully we will be seeing you soon!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

THANK YOU!! I will definitely post my border review when I arrive and hook up my comp, probably on Monday! Right now I feel as if my entire life is sitting in boxes in my sister's garage, I just want to get settled in my new home and feel comfortable again!!

My whole life is STILL sitting in boxes in my mother in laws garage after two years! Every time I want to look for something I figure it is packed in a box somewhere.

Isn't that so frustrating?! You have been in boxes for longer though, 2 years wow! For me it's just been 4 months, not too bad. I can never find anything that I need; even my clothes are all over the place! When do you move into your new house? That's very exciting for you

You mean IF I move into my new house ;) It is supposed to be sometime bewteen Dec. 8th and the 12th but I'm struggling with the mortgage right now. With the economy being bad and as a first time home buyer, they are asking for things like my T-4s from 2005 and 2006 from Canada. It is an absolute nightmare of information for me right now. I've sent about 60 pages worth of documentation already and they are still saying it's not good enough.
