:) Good Morning! :)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

zaid has pink eye :(

I used to HATE it when the kids would get pink eye because everyone in the house would get it and it would mean an automatic few days I'd have to take off from work. Oh how I don't miss those days! I would be very careful, wash everyone's hands like you have ocd and disinfect all toys daily until he's all cured. I mean I'm sure you disinfect everything every so often anyways but for this you really have to be on top of it so it doesn't come back. I feel for ya especially when you have to put that vaseline-like stuff in his eyes!

Our local travel agency has a poster with pix of camel riding in Australia? I didn't know they had camels riding in Australia over sand dunes before.

I'm so excited that I actually know an interesting fact to share!!!

DID YOU KNOW....

That the camels native to ME are only 1 humped. The 2 humped camels are native to Australia! I was so shocked when my husband told me that.

Aren't those called kangaroos?

 those are bactrian camels, and native to east asia. the one hump is a dromedary camel.

The Bactrian Camel (Camelus bactrianus) is a large even-toed ungulate native to the steppes of north eastern Asia. It is one of the two surviving species of camel. The Bactrian Camel has two humps on its back, in contrast to the single-humped Dromedary Camel.[1]

Nearly all of the estimated 1.4 million Bactrian Camels alive today are domesticated, but in October 2002 the estimated 950 remaining in the wild in northwest China and Mongolia were placed on the critically endangered species list.[2]

I know when Ibrahim gets here it will be challenging to stay away from the computer. I am online now WAYYYYYYYYYY too many hours now just to kill time. It is habit to wake up, turn on the computer, go to the bathroom and make coffee. It is a habit that will be hard for me to break.

Happy Thursday everybody.

It is really not that hard. The first week I was feeling withdrawals a bit but honestly I am so busy when we're together I don't even give it a second thought anymore. When I'm at work that's one thing 'cause I have the most boringest job in the universe so I need a little distraction here and there but there's always something to do at home.

It's not so hard. But at the same time, we live off our computer for so many things. Computer dork alert!! Both of us are music and movie junkies. So we are downloading all the time. Recipes, shopping (diaper and forumla ordering), etc. We also use it to talk to our families overseas and across the country so I can't imagine our lives without it. Sure, we don't spend the time we did when we were apart but its still a vital part of our lives. I love my computer

JP, I agree about any nerds and my coffee! Makes me shudder...:P

To be 100% honest about things, if we both had laptops I think we'd be online 24/7. lol. Right now my 12 yr old has a laptop, my 11 yr old has a desktop (old as dirt) and there's a pretty good computer in the living room but sitting in the living room I can't multitask the way I could with the laptop...watching tv while on the phone while online. lol
