the most common questions are:

how long have you known each other?

how did you meet?

when did you get married? where? reception, if any?

was your husband married before? does he have kids? do you know them/their names/bdays?

were you married before? kids if any? do the kids like your husband (vice versa)

what's your main form of communication/how do you stay in touch? do you have proofs (pictures, receipts, etc)?

what does your husband do for a living? do you have his employment letters, tax returns, etc?

will you work when you're already in the us?

are you working right now? where? what do you do?

have you applied for a us visa before? when? what for?

questions will be solely about you guys/your relationship. tell your wife to smile even if it pains her to do so.:)

goodluck!

i am a bit curious because i want my wife to prepare for the questions that she may be asked for her visa. can anyone post?

thank you!

Hi! Maybe I can help a little bit because I was under K3 too when I had my interview, you can click on my profile and look and read about my USEmbassy interview experience, I've written there everything about the queustions they've asked me. I know too that most of the K3s had similar questions like mine, you can also look at the search here at the top just type on K3 interview experience and I'm sure from there you can get some pointers too.

i called NVC this morning because i kept thinking what else my wife needs. i keep reading about affadavit of support so i had to contact them to find out what is going on. What i was told by the NVC is that they sent my AOS to the u.s. embassy in manila since it was approved so not to worry. i felt relieved hearing this but i know my wife should take a copy of my tax return which she has. anyhow, thought i might share that with you all.

thanks!

something isn't right with your story. this is why we ask for people to Post a Timeline. the NVC didn't send your AOS to manila. it sent your NOA2 approval notice for I-129F petition to Manila. ( if indeed your wife is filing for a K3 visa ).. your wife still needs the complete affidavit of support with evidence in duplicate as required. so click on guides at the top of the page and study the I-134 affidavit of support.
