Whereabouts in Brum do you hail from? I'm currently residing in Acocks Green (where Jasper Carrott was born B) )

That's where my parents live. Nice area of the city.

Real love stories never have endings...

I wouldn't describe it as "nice" exactly, M&S. Solihull, 2 miles down the road, is nice. What Acock's Green is, is a decent, working class area, populated by decent, hard working people - and that works for me just fine.

Birmingham - the 2nd city and a great place to live. Bang, slap in the middle of the country, so all the major cities in England are no more than a couple of hours away, and cheaper than both Liverpool and Manchester. I don't have any birth related bias to the area (I was born in Liverpool, raised in Southampton, and spent most of my adult life in London, so I'm a good judge of where's good!) and I love it in Brum - top place, great people.

I don't have any birth related biases either - I was born in Birmingham and raised in Surrey

Halesowen, but I have family in Perry Barr :)

Chelsea or Kensington in London. Both affordable and pretty cheap to live.

Step away from that Buttery Nipple!

Council Housing!

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
