By "reservation" do you mean a plane ticket? Nigerian scammers always ask for tickets.

 I was married by someone who used me for his Green Card. In another relationship, although I love this man I dont want this to happen to me again so I dot my i, and cross my t's and yes im guilty about allowing the past to hunt me. I do want to know if this is ok to do or if this is another scam to use me again. My frien asked me to set him reservation in a country that would freely allow him to come to USA. He stated that once he received reservation (invitation to come?) he would take it to the Embassy or Immugration Im not sure on it. They would allow him to go over then once there he can come to USA. Im not sure of the timeline on any of this.

Im wondering if this is a scam once he gets over, get what he needs and thats it. Please if u have info pleas share with me i dont want a repeat of my first husband.

Thank You Much!

I mean a hotel reservation, he said once he gets confermation from hotel that he has a room reserved he can take that to get approvial to leave (i guess) he is paying for it all.

I explained to him I didnt like that he said we can just go through the correct way.

One day we were talking he wants me to goto Africa to meet his family and wants us to marry there. I questioned that he stated he wanted his mom and family to be apart of it. Am I being too protective. Is this ok or is there something else going on with this?

Again thanks for everones in put.

We can't really decide for you, odds are pretty good you are being overly paranoid, some of the things that ran through my head before leaving the US seem so ridiculously crazy now, but at the same time nigeria is world famous for scams, and is potentially dangerous. Asking us to advise you here is like flipping a coin. We don't have enough information to go on, I don't know if english is your primary langauge but a lot of your original post is not very clear, possibly because you aren't sure exactly what he's suggesting either. We have no idea how long you've known your new man, if you've met him in person (seems like no) or anything else. I think given how little we have to go on to decide the fate of your love life, you might get better advice from the coin toss...

I have been noted as being the scam expert. What a joke!

I second Chipsa's notion. You are not 100% then do not do it. The fact that you are desperate enough to post for an answer shows that you have concerns. Until those concerns are addressed whole heartedly I would not take the risk.

Are you in the same emotional state you were in when you met your husband? Looking for the same type of person to fill the same expectations? Often we are fed what we are looking for by the con person. I have been conned by a US citizen emotionally & spiritually, I can look at my state of mind and see how that happened to me. Nothing we can say here will give you 100% clarity. What if he is using you for Visa fraud? How would this effect your emotions and spirit? Is it worth a risk? These are question around you that you can answer that will help you make your decision that is in your best interest.

Visa fraud is common and people who have been duped find it is running ramped.

I wish you the outcome that will take you in the next level of your life's journey.

As far as I understand this situation - the man wants to come to the US, on a XY visa, which he thinks he can get by showing a hotel reservation to the Embassy or Immigration services at a POE.

That, however, is not how any visa process works and it doesn't even matter whether or not it is a scam. Having a hotel reservation, or plane tickets matters NOT, at all. If a person comes from a country that requires visas to the US, then they really need a visa. Visas are issued by US consulates. Any and all information can be found on this website or elsewhere on the Internet.

Whether or not this is another scam, only the original poster can tell, and, of course, the man involved. All the assumptions aside, the guy in question really could be an honest person. Maybe he just does not know anything about the visa process, at all? Again, an issue for the OP to investigate.

If he was legit and was going to pay for the hotel reservations, he could to that himself from most any hotels website. When people ask you to do things for them that they can do simply for them self then there is something wrong. Be careful Please

Take a look. maybe he's listed on the site. Check the emails list.

Wherever this guy is going with this, there is DEFINITELY NO RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SHOWING A HOTEL RESERVATIONS ANYWHERE AND A VISA TO VISIT THE US. NONE. ZERO.

i don't get it.

This is exactly the approach taken by a Nigerian guy to a friend of mine within the last year. They were "married" in Nigeria in front of friends and family, but it was never recorded anywhere. Family paid for his trip to the U.S. He came here as her fiance, they married, and for the better part of a year, he's been absent from marriage and preparing to move to the opposite coast once his green card arrives. It's a scam, for sure.

No im American it I know it sounded gerbrish because I really didnt understand the process myself.

I have not questioned him to the point were it would seem like I was researching myself I just have general conversation. He claims a friend did the same thing so he needed to talk with him to get it explained to him clearly. He made mention he was willing to wait for us to process it, and I can come over to visit. I asked about marring in Africa he said we will have 2 weddings 1 traditional in Africa for his family especially his mom, then 1 here for my family to witness. Although his name wa not on scam list doesnt mean hes not one. I do love this man but I also want to guard my heart and much embarrasment also.

I will be patient and give it more time even if it takes a year or two.

He had been looking for a soccer team in the US to try out for hopping he could get sponsership that way. I meet people here all the time that comes over for college, he said he wouldnt qualify because of his age he should have did it right after highschool?
