Have to say that I am surprised gas prices are still going down a week after the election, that didn't happen in the 2006 election, skyrocketed back up again. Bush announced finding a huge reserve in the gulf that never came to be. So why are the prices still going down over a week after the election and exactly whom are they asking what the price of crude per barrel actually is? Not the same guy that is giving us these outrageous immigration numbers.

Could it be the way the election turned out, some are worried about an investigation? Was really shocked to read that article on LCD price fixing, didn't think the department of justice was concerned about stuff like that anymore the way one company is buying up another. So why aren't they investigating the price of energy?

Ironically we have a 4,000 known supply of natural gas and can double that figure with methane. Earth is producing so much methane now that some scientists are concerned with could have a flash fire that literally consumes all the oxygen on earth, or at least to levels where we can't no longer survive here. Methane is also the major cause of ozone depletion and global warming, but some a$$hole is pushing carbon dioxide. We have the technology now to use domestic supplies for natural gas and methane to power our vehicles and heat our homes, even with a much lower carbon content for those that are dumb enough to believe that CO2 is increasing global temperatures.

So why are we screwing around with Venezuela and the middle east. We have no need to.

It was not the civil war that freed the slaves in this country, it was the cotton gin, much cheaper than feeding a bunch of slaves. And the big difference between freedom and slavery, is the price of energy. If it's cheaper to use human labor than a gallon of fuel to do a task, that is the way it will be. Romans had no interest in developing alternate sources of energy.

Was happy to hear that Obama least new about our manufacturing trade deficit, but have to give him an F- on energy, feel he believes Gore knows what he is talking about. But he did say he will listen to reason, we have to educate him on this very important subject. So far, our need for oil that we really do not need has backfired on us with constant conflict, and don't be surprised if China declares war on us.
