NVC what documents are needed?

I have been trying to find a list of the documents needed to be returned with the DS-230. I have found a cover letter for the DS-230 at WIKI, and there is a document I have never heard of before "PASSPORT OFFICE POLICE CERTIFICATE" What is this? Where do you get this? Is this needed for China? For the K-3 we only provided the Police Clearance Certificate. Thanks Mike & Yizhen

Interview 8/8/07 "PINK" entered US 8/27/07

Rec'd approved I-824 & re-approved I-130 10/11/07

after 12.5 mo. DHS Ombudsman sends I-130 to NVC 10/30/08, and asks for case to be expedited

NVC rec'd 12/26/08, NVC to GUZ 1/5/09,

NVC sends email to GUZ requesting Expedite 1/9 or 1/14? DOS says "waiting for interview date" 2/9

INTERVIEW 4/28/2009 P-4 delivered to US in 6 days via FedEx 3/26/2009

4/28/2009 INTERVIEW PINK ! ! ! !

VISA PICK-UP 4/30/2009 9:50 AM

Enter IR-1 POE Chicago "ORD", SS Card 6/27/09, welcome letter 7/2/09

10 YEAR GREEN CARD 7/6/2009

That is the problem using a non-specific source. I know that people from India can get PC's from the Passport Office.... the same type of PC you used for K-3 will be required again.

Would it not have been simpler to just adjust status from inside the USA after K-3 entry? Maybe there is more to your story that your timeline does not indicate

We just want to return to China to visit the family. My wife has a son age 23, 4 sisters, 1 brother, many nieces and a nephew, and her mother. We will save about $600 we can use towards our tickets to China. We spend time in GUZ every trip to China, so we thought it would be easy. It has been so long now that I am feeling nervous about the preperation, just like the K-3. I am trying to be very careful, so everything I read brings up some question. Thanks for helping, Mike & Yizhen
