Greetings to everyone!

I am just a new member here and i am applying for a K-1 Visa. I received my NO1 last July and i am worried since it's been 4 months already since I and my fiancee received the first notice. Just wanna ask if how many months does it take to have the second noctice? Just a bit worried here...I need some information to those who have been through this Visa processing. Thank You all!

Estimated time usually is 4-6months unless you were lucky enough like other VJ members here. Don't worry based on your time line your I-129F may be adjudicated between Nov 17-23, 2008. That's pretty close. We filed our K1 Visa last June 24th and received our NOA1 June 27th until now still waiting for NOA2 approval. Good luck to all of us here waiting for the golden word approved.

Hello,

there is a whole thread about us June filers depending on whether you filed in California or Vermont. Just take a look! We don't bite. ;-)

You'll see that there are a lot of late June filers esp. waiting for NOA 2 come. SO no worries. You are still on time.

hello Ms Jane We filled in june and got noa1 on june 16, we got Noa2 Oct 30th 141 days. You are at the 4 month mark and your noa2 could come anyday now. This is the hardest part of the wait or it was for us because you have no idea whats going on with your petition if its lost or someone maybe put the box with your file in it, in som closet or the worker on your case went on vacation you just come up with all kinds of crazy thoughts then one day you get the noa2 and its such a relief. IM not going to tell you to be patient because i know that dont help, The only thing i can say you are getting close and should see something in the next few weeks. Good Luck from Steve and Radz

Hi Steve and Radz!

Thank you both for dropping by...i appreciated it much. You both are lucky since u already received the second notice.A lot of negative things playing on my mind because i don't have any idea about what's going on with our papers. We will just hope that one of these days we will receive the Noa2. Thanks for the nice words Steve and Radz.It really help me think positively.God Bless!!

we had a little delay getting our NOA1 coz my fiance forgot to get one of the papers notarized ugghhh.

Which paper needed to be notarized for the I-129F?

I was wondering that myself....there are no notarization requirements for the I-129F, although there are some things that need notarized after the NOA2.
