Change of signature when name change

Some of us decided to take our husband name.

I have a question that remains to that regard.

I decided to keep the same signature. If you stare and cross your eyes at it long enough, you might see that it says a name different than the one I now carry. Does it really matter? SSA, banks etc didn't have an issue with it.

I believe that your signature can be anything, even an X if I decided.

I just wonder if anybody else did the same thing or everybody else redid a signature with their hubby's last name...

I am giving up my maiden name, I want to keep my maiden name signature, darn it! :star:

In this tedious process, we tend to forget that this is all worth it.

I love my hubby beyond anything in this world.

A signature (from Latin signare, "sign") is a handwritten (and sometimes stylized) depiction of someone's name, nickname or even a simple "X" that a person writes on documents as a proof of identity and intent.

Some people sign their name very legibly - if this were the case, I'd suggest changing it to avoid any confusion - otherwise keep your signature...

Thank you for the answer... this is what I thought but I can't seem to find anything.
