Hi,

I need to get a couple vaccines but I currently do not have a doctor.

Does anyone know a good free clinic in Toronto where I can get the TD and HPV vaccines?

Also are they both covered by OHIP?

Thanks!

Gardisil is not covered by OHIP or health insurance. It is $178 per shot. First you need to get the prescription, purchase it at a pharmacy and then go back and a nurse can inject it for you. Any walk-in clinic should be able to help you.

I just had my first Gardisil shot today. It wasn't too bad. My arm is still a bit tingly though.

Yes, you only get the first shot for now, but you'll have to have all three I think or at least the 2nd when you're in the US and applying for AOS. The cut off date is age 27, so if your interview was in April, and you had your interview then, then you wouldn't have to have it. Unfortuately, you're within the age range, so you have to have it.
