Hi

I arrived last week in the US , with a K1 visa , and I am a bit confused as to where to start from with all the forms! Please forgive me if the answers to my questions already are on this forum

1. I understand I can file for a SS number next week - I need the number ASAP since I already applied for a job and they are waiting for the number to start my employement- How can I rush the process if it is possible at all? How long does it usually take?

2. I had a medical examination and vaccins back in France - Is it possible that I still have to see a civil surgeon here twice!??( once when I file for AOS and one more time when they tell me to?) Am I getting it right?

3.Do we have to submit another Affidavit of support (I-864) when we already submitted the I-134 at the embassy abroad??

4. Am I supposed to do anything else in the meantime, before we get married??

Thank you very much!!

1) look at the VJ SSN guide below

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...custom&page=ssn

2) You only need to see a civil surgeon once. Take your vaccine records to one who will transfer the info to the I-693A supplement. Send the sealed envelope when you file.

3) yes
