Case Transferred to CA but very delayed!!!

I don't freaking get it... my wife and I got her case transfered to California on July 30th and we have yet to hear from them! This really sucks! Now we moved and I am not sure if i submit a change of address if that is going to delay things even more. Can someone help me please. I could always leave the old address there since the people who are living there are my ex-roommates and good friends. So i don't know what to do. Plus i thought i only had to change the address for my wife and now i heard that i as the sponsor also need to update my address.

You have been at CSC for 3.5 months. That's not unusual. You should hear something soon, I think they average about 4 months to process, but it can be longer obviously.

About the address... your wife (alien) has to notify USCIS of an address change within 10 days. Once she changes the address online, the mail should be coming to the new place. But I would leave her name on the mailbox in the old place just in case. I think a greencard, like SS card, is returned if the name is not on the mailbox.

US citizen do not have to report address changes. But since you are involved in an active case, you may have to also. You will need to research this. Read below, especially about the benefits of using the online change of address.
