Am told billions of dollars have been misplaced, current president broke over 750 US Constitution laws, we are deep in debt, we have a very unpopular war that we started based on lies and eight years went by with no so much as even an investigation.

So what happens when Obama takes office, also told this country is a mess. Was in charge of taking over a company that was a mess, did have the power to do anything I had to, to find out exactly where the company stood, if people there were stealing had to be prosecuted and get back what they stole back, plus getting rid of all the deadwood. But that was a very small company compared to the USA, that job seems impossible to me, especially getting rid of the deadwood.

In the past, just let the guy go, hey, we have to move on, but is this justice to the American people that have to pay the bills? Is my brand new granddaughter going to have to pay the bills for what this administration is alleged to do? I am in no position to make accusations, others have made these accusations, but feel an investigation is in order, and the first order of business is to learn exactly where we are today. And if crimes have been committed, what was taken should be given back and the criminals brought to justice.

Only Obama has this power to do that, thanks to us letting this office gain more and more power each year. So regarding the future of this country, what his does will determine the future. If he let's it all go by and their was major crimes committed, do not see any future for this country, it will just get worse, and has been with each election. He can likewise pardon, and even commit more crimes himself.

Way too much power for that office for any one guy or gal, should be reduced to an real elected official just to be the speaker of the house so at least we have more voice, that I my opinion, based on history of this office. George Washington was okay, but been downhill ever since.

With a president nominated justices for the supreme court, and the power to veto bills as blackmail to congress to get this guy on the bench, exactly where is the balance of power? Also should make the supreme court only pass interpretations of the law with a unanimous vote, the 5-4 decisions have been extremely controversial. We changed from a republic to a dictatorship.

It doesn't take a genius to calculate that. History tells us world power bases shift with time. By 1865, it would have been pretty easy to predict the dominant powers of the 20th Century. Here's to hoping China's ascendancy to world superpower status is a peaceful one, because barring something entirely impossible to foresee, they will become the dominant economic force in the world, early in the 21st Century.

I suspect they'll have a long run at the top of the world until the decline in their society's moral standards catches up with the rest of the world. I'd say they're similar to the US and Europe from the early to middle 1960's now but will decline much more rapidly than what we've seen in the last 50 years in the "West".

Unless the Chinese deal a little more closely with an Obama administration. No, strike that, an American administration, that values international cooperativity and with mutual sharing of technology and intellectual resources to better adjust to changing global finances.
