Every time I post I am reminded how long this Aministrative Process has been ongoing...

I have read alot of the post on Administrative Process but have not come across much. Most everyone is on AP for K3 or K1 but nothing that I have noticed for AP after CR1 interview. I have sent various e-mails to the embassy sent a couple of letters to them, sent a letter to the DOS which referred me to the website for future reference. contacted Congressman Gonales in my jurisdiction.

ALL managed to get the same response

we understand your frustration... we can not issue until we have clearance...we will be in touch...

Can anyone offer any more advice?

Thanks to all (F)

I am so sorry that you are still waiting. I can't believe they are still working on your case after all this time. You don't usually see AP from Jordan for this long either. My prayers are with you and hopefully soon your husband will get his visa.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I'm so glad Lisa posted this for you.

I know you've reached out to any and all who could/should be able to help, the only idea I had was to tell you to connect with people specifically from Jordan for advice/suggestions/help - anything (maybe in the portal area of VJ ?????).

At any rate, I truly hope the above is a lead for you & many steps closer to your husband. (F)

Wish there was more I could offer and/or do - thinking of ya gurl !

This is from the USCIS fiscal year "strides" from the weekly newsletter I got today

FBI Name Checks

During FY08, USCIS worked with the FBI to effectively eliminate all pending name checks more than two years old and reduced the number of cases waiting for a name check final result from almost 350,000 in late FY07 to less than 37,000. The FBI is on target to eliminate all name checks pending more than six months by early 2009.

I hope this pertains to you guys
