Someone else might be able to answer more specifically, b/c it has been a while since we went through it, but Packet 3 is basically the Checklist of documents you need to prepare. When you have them prepared, you return the checklist and then they send you Packet 4, which is a fancy name for your interview letter. It will include the date of your interview.

The other nice thing about Packet 3 is that it gives you your LND number, so you can schedule your medical appointment.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but that is about it! The best thing you can do is to get a copy of the checklist and have the documents prepared so you can return the checklist as soon a you receive it. Your interview won't be scheduled til you return the Checklist.

For the interview, you have to have US-sized passports. Packet 3 suggests places to go to get them done. There's a place very close to the doctor's office in London, which is where my husband went and had no problems.
