Hello you guys!

I just received a letter saying that our case has been moved to the California Service Center.

This is after I sent in a REF regarding some tax and income information that I had totally missed.

Does this mean that the REF was OK ? Or is this a bad thing??

When I was going through the K-1 process it was the Vermont Service Center...

Any comments?

REF (I-485 info) - Oct 24 2008

REF sent in - Oct 26 2008

Case moved to California Service Center - Nov 6 2008

EAD card received - Jan 5 2009

AP received - Jan 20 2009

GREEN CARD ordered - Feb 17 2009

usually means good news as they will attempt to approve it without interview.... but that does not mean you could not get another RFE...

The service center that processed your I-129F has no bearing on who processes the I-485

YMMV

Transfer to CSC is a good thing. It means that they will probably approve you without an interview. They may still transfer it to your local office for intrerview, but usually they just approve it there.
