Do you have any document that states that you're renting month-to-month? if you do, include that. If not, maybe your landlord can write a letter certifiying that. Well, you write the letter and maybe he can sign it.

As for the car documents, evethough you don't have joint ownership, you should at least be included in the car insurance, I'm guessing by this time you have a Driver's license.

It's a pain changing the address after you submitted the application. In my case I did all that they required for the Change of address, I filled out the forms and changed the address for the i-751 application and the general change of address that you have to do even if you don't have any application pending. I even have confirmation numbers for the "change of address" but they still sent me mail to my previous address. After I called because I was out of timeframe, they took my info including my address and that's when they sent me the mail to the correct address. They're awful with updating their information. It was a setback of almost 2 months, but that was my case.

For the military documents, in the i-751 instructions at the USCIS website there's a part that mentions something about it. Here's the link:

If you have the title to a car, you can add an additional person. I did this very thing when my husband arrived. Again - the important thing is that you must have the actual 'title' to the car.

ALL things work TOGETHER for GOOD!
