My husband just arrived today in Jacksonville after 41 days of vacation here and to our surprised he found out our approval notice letter for both petitions in their mailbox. :dance: :dance: :dance:

We are so very happy finally after almost a year of waiting...

May God help VSC to continue approve others who had been waiting long months like us :)

Nov 21 2007 - Sent I-130

Dec 27 2007 - VSC receipt date

Feb 05 2008 - NOA1 received thru snail mail

Feb 09 2008 - Cheque has been cashed by USCIS

Feb 24 2008 - Updated in the system

Jeca I hope we will be the next to get approve because we have the same touches with Kennethea, you been waiting also for so long. Good luck to our journey.

Jeca & Mamalou I am also in the april and may last touch batch. If you read my recent few posts I have been told my case is with an officer and that it is within processing times. Yes I confirmed this with two different vsc officers that my case is with a officer/adjudicator. But here is the clincher, it may still take at least 30 more days for any notice(rfe or approval). Apparently they are back logged with many expedites and congressional inquiries and a system failure that they still are trying to recover. This could be why there have been no touches or emails being sent for the last few week and months. Hang in there I have a feeling we will be hearing something by the end of this month. Looks like the current waiting time is 8-9 months if you have not been lucky to get an approval somehow earlier. The recent approvals agree with this timeline somewhat. Good luck everyone.
