 Hello all,

I have a few questions regarding process

1. I sent I-130 on 9-16-2008 and received approval via USCIS website 11-6-2008, what happens to the pending I-129F???

2. Is this normal to receive approval for I-130 and not I-129F, having I-130 approved is the process the same?? Because I checked VJ K3 flow chart and it really only mentions I-129F NOA2 aprroval nothing about I-130

3. I see on timelines people are able to track visa's to and from NVC? How do I track my visa? I called NVC and was told that it might take 4 to 6 weeks to receive visa packet? and then another 30 to 90 days to review??? I see on VJ most visa packets are received within a few days by NVC and sent out within 1 week, is this correct?

Any help would be fantasic!!!

Thanks

It would be extremely unusual for an I-130 to be approved that quickly but if it has been, I would expect your I-129F to be returned to you. An I-129F for spouse can only be processed while an I-130 is pending. If you're certain your I-130 is approved, you need to be following the CR1 guide. K3 is dead for you.

WOW Congrats ! If it is true, it is one of those rare occurrences. You are very lucky. Just follow the guidelines on top for the next steps.

Hey bbishopop! WOw that was very quick. We filed our I-130 last September first week.. What service center are you?

Congrats!. Just get your documnets ready for NVC so that your case will not take longer in NVC...

In my own opinion just go to I130 if that will happen to me I wil just pursue to my I-130... You will have everything you need when you get to the US. Good Luck
