Hi,

If anyone know the answer to this question, it'll be greatly appreciated. I've been hearing that embassy's will close during the holidays for a period of time, and that they'll also book up appointments for the end of the year. If this is true, what's the best way of confirming this information? we're in the middle of gathering our documents before the packets are sent out...do we need to continue with the rush to complete everything or wait???

No need to rush. There is a normal delay before they send out the packet (sometimes 2-3 months after the NVC sends your file to Brazil) and at least another month after they send out the packet.

Thanks for the response, there's still too much to do anyway.
