We just got a notice for our interview for AOS, I'm wondering if this is the interview that will get us our green card, or if there is more interviews??? I'm not quite sure what is next. Can anyone tell me the process. Thanks!!!

Hopefully... A second AOS interview is typically referred to as a "Stokes" interview, and you do NOT want that...

YMMV

OOHHH!! LOL, that would not be good!! LOL, we won't have a problem with that. Do you know how long it typically takes to get the card, we want to travel back to Zambia, that's why I'm asking. Also, since we've not been married two years yet, does that mean he'll get a two year card, and then we have to renew? Thanks for all your help! :)

The greencard will be based on the length of the marriage upon the date o f approval... less than 2 yrs = 2 yr card.

varies from 10-14 days to ?????, dependant on individual circumstances

YMMV

At the interview, if approved, you can ask them to put a stamp in your passport because you want to travel soon. It's just as good as the greencard.

They often tell you right away, but not always. They may say that they need a supervisor or another IO to approve your case. Or they may want more time to review your case. If that happens, you would be notified by mail when you are approved.
