SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - "We lost 2 billion dollars and like any other business we have to stay afloat." And to keep from sinking, the United States Postal Service is considering cutting thousands of jobs nationwide.

The USPS is a private business? and not an independent establishment of the Executive Branch of the United States Government ?

so ... the gov't can bail out non-gov't businesses ... and not bail itself out? :unsure:

USPS is in no danger of 'failing'.

USPS is in no danger of 'failing'.

not failing ... just putting 10's of thousands on another form of gov't payrole. At least on the job there is the possibility of work being performed.
