How long did it take you to receive your Packet 3?

I've been trying to lookat people's timelines but not everyone has included that information.

I'm just looking for an estimate so I can plan out getting everything I need.

I'm going for my first Gardisil shot tomorrow morning (not looking forward to the pain).

I also need to get a new Tetanus before my medical, police report and have R put together his affidavit stuff.

Does he have to provide tax receipts? He has a good job, will get a letter and his pay stubs and then he has a huge savings - do we absolutely need his tax records? If so, would 2007 taxes be enough (that's all he can find).

Hi! I received my Packet 3 a little over 1 month after NOA1. Regarding tax stuff, it's not necessary. Some people want to have more than less evidence, but it is not one of the requirements as long as you have the other stuff (bank letter, work letter, etc). Just to be safe I did bring Glen's tax return from 2007, but they didn't even ask for it. I definitely wouldn't go back farther than the most recent tax year.

Good luck with your shot tomorrow, sorry you have to get that. I was lucky enough to be over age requirement.

Oh wow, a little over a month after you NOA2 you mean? I was thinking it would come around the 3 week mark. But over a month is good too. That puts me in early/mid-december. Good to have a time in mind.

Also good info about the tax returns. I can't anticipate they will even ask us either, so that is good.

Oh yes NOA2!! It was 34 days to be exact... I think the tax returns are maybe if the petitioner doesn't have a steady job or something, but with Glen's employer letter and bank letter that was sufficient. I gave them his pay stubs as well!

Mine came about 3 weeks after my NOA2. It really depends on how fast your petition goes from NVC to Montreal I think. I would bank on about 3-4 weeks.

8/07/09 - Green Card interview at Raleigh Field office at 8:45am - Given RFE for I-693 Vaccination suppliment
9/08/09 - returned RFE to field office. Approved for Green Card
9/09/09 - Received email that Card production had been ordered.
9/17/09 - Green Card in the mail - No more USCIS until June, 2011 :D

Well, I got my Packet 3 today.

They gave me all expired forms so I think I'm going to just use the ones online just to be safe.

They are moving faster than I thought! Good thing I have this weekend free to get everything together to send!
