see that was a thing in our house growing up.. we would always wrap gifts in boxes we had lying around the house and then we would joke around when we opened the gift by saying things like, "yay we got a box of cornflakes for Christmas" ..lol :P

I was at Target today and I found some prefect things for my Secret Santa.. I wish I would have thought of going there before I mailed it off...

I got my gift! yay! But I still don't know who its from because there was no name on it! All I know is Florida heheh so that kind of narrows it down!

I got a pretty Angel :) It looks like a tree topper so I got really excited! I can take that silly mini santa hat off! And candy canes. I looooooooove candy canes :)

Thank you Secret Santa!

Edit, It has a ribbon, so It could also be an ornament and not a topper, but I like the idea of a topper :D

OK....I gave in and opened my Secret Santa gift. I was feeling kinda down cause I hadn't heard anything bout my AP.

The music box is beautiful and note cards are wonderful. As I was putting them on my computer desk, I noticed I had an email. I opened it and found that my AP documents were mailed today.

So between my secrect Santa gifts and that email, I've been :) and :crying: for the better part of the day. When I spoke to my daughter earlier and sang "I'll be home for Christmas....", she was like really, honest, for sure...and I said as long as those documents arrive in the mail before the 23rd when we plan on leaving, yes Kelsie - I'll be there. I heard my sister in the background say.."Now I have to go buy 2 more gifts."

Wow! Great timing!

"Я тебя люблю. Эти слова имеют мою жизнь в них."

Eligible for N-400 early based on Section 329 of the INA, Service During Hostilities

We can, I think the group is getting anxious to share though

What does everyone think? I don't think it's important to post them all at the same time, but waiting doesn't bother me either, so opinions? :)

I don't know, I think it doesn't matter, we will be posting in this thread right until Christmas and it will be fun regardless! So in light of that, here is my secret santa photo, my gift from canadian_wife! It's a snowman head that you can set on a table or anywhere, she also sent me a choc gift tag (already eaten!) and a lovely Christmas card, thanks canadian_wife :)

Ok - I broke down and opened my Secret Santa gift tonight as well:-) Thank you, Secret Santa Miss Stacey! However did you guess that I love cats? hehehehehe

Ok - MissStacey sent me a wonderful pop up Christmas card of a Christmas scene with tree, fireplace and lots and lots of cats enjoying their Christmas presents! Pull a strip and a box opens and a cat pops up as well - it's delightful! (edited to add - I just noticed - Santa is coming down the chimney too!)

She also sent me a beautiful black silk wallet with an embroidered white fleu de lis design on the front, a limited edition Carvist Lane Collectible ornament, hand-cast in bronze and numbered (only 1500 ever made!) again with a fleur de lis below a crown and with an eyemask in an oval. It comes in its own little gauze drawstring bag. And, if that isn't enough, she also sent me 4 magnetic page clips with kitty cats on them. I have never seen these before and they look so useful for reading. Again, thanks, 'Secret Santa' Miss Stacey! They're all wonderful!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
