I sent mine in the post today. Hopefully it arrives safely in a couple of days!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Okay I sent it out today!

Dear person who gets my present,

I apologize for not wrapping the gift! I had it in a decorative box that I purchased especially for the gifts! But I couldn't ship the box because I had nothing to ship it in and I didn't want to write or tape up the box. And by the time I got to the post office today the actual offices were closed... BOO! I thought this was Americus the land of "OPEN 24/7"!!!

So, it's in a express post box and thats it, lame right? I know! That's why I am writing this letter so that when you receive it you will understand! Imagine it in a decorative box! It was so well put together when it was! I should have just wrapped! GRRR!! :(

Oh cool, just got back from Texas and read this! I'm so glad you liked everything! It was fun to do but the liking part makes it even nicer! Merry Christmas!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I WONDERED how long it had been sitting out there!! tee hee...

That's hilarious!! I can't believe they just dumped it on our back porch, they didn't put a tag or anything on our front door.. if I hadn't been excited about the snow we may never have seen it!! We only go to the back to BBQ, and since we got our new George Foreman we haven't outdoor grilled!

Psh! Better than leaving everything on your FRONT porch in a town full of crime  In the last couple weeks I've bought a GPS device and an ipod for my dad for christmas and they have left them plain as day against the front door. People's cars get broken into and people get robbed for that stuff where I live. Thankfully I got the two things in time before any one else did!
