hi! i was checking my husband status at the USCIS web and i noticed that they change the info but not the date, still having 05.17.06, i don't know what that means,cause before it said it will take 270 to 300 days for them to make a desiccion, i'm confused????

this is the new info they post:

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On May 8, 2006, your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received here for processing. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.

yes they changed that recently

i guess its better than the 900 days they had

and now you can just compare the processing time and call them if its past due. It should have been done long time ago, they always had this BS answer of 90 days and 60 days,

Because the time estimates they were giving were meaningless. Getting rid of them is long overdue.
