i have read the news that in 2008 uscis has made significant progress.have you seen any progress because i sure havent?granted my n400 was processed in record time earlier this year but my k1 filing is dragging on so slow.they only shift the burden to another department?

I hate to say it but they seem to judge how well they do by how quickly they process citizenship files and employment files. All else don't seem to count and appear to have been pushed to the back burner while they process the above mentioned files. So, congratulations on your citizenship - and welcome to the family immigration line-up for waiting.

Just before the elections, I read that 780,000 immigrants received citizenship between July 2007 & June 2008! That was a tremendous push, Welcome & Congratulations to them .

Hopefully the push can now go to other petitions that have been waiting for what seems like an eternity.

i havent seen it either. maybe the progress is for the lucky fellows who get their IL in 4 months while we wait over one year?
