Received my NOA1 for my I-130 petition a couple of weeks ago. Just returned from C.R. with updated passport photos of my wife so now I am ready to send in my I-129F petition. Do I send in the original NOA1 for the I-130 or do I just make a copy of it?

Also taking things sometimes the wrong way again, as usual. The NOA1 states that if it is in regards to an I-130 petition it may take YEARS (S)

before it is processed as it may take that long for a VISA number to come up. Since I am a USC I thought I wouldn't need to wait for a VISA number to be available if I was petitioning for my wife. Has something changed? Or am I reading wrongly into a "generic" statement meaning that other I-130's (brother, son over 21, not filed by USC, etc...) are the ones taking years.... YEARS.

Thanks again.

First of you should send copy of your NOA1 for I-129f. Secondly, that's generic statement that you read of your NOA1. You dont have to wait for VISA number to come up, your file will be processed immediatley at NVC.

Best of luck in your Journey!
