I'm telling you...we should make a "NO touches/NO approvals" thread...it will be hopping!

LOOOOL

Well I'm anxious for you March filers to get approvals, because then I know mine will be coming next!

I did notice last week that lots of people got their I-130's approved and they only had like 2 months waiting time... Have you noticed? What? Did they spend the last month working on expedites only???

I will be posting here this week with some good news...hopefully.

me too me too me too

lol

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I just got off the phone with someone at vsc and was told my case is with an adjudicator as of 11/7 and the the case is within processing times and that even with an adjudicator it will take at least 30 days for approval or some notice. She said there are many expedites to process and they are short handed. What to believe? So close yet sooooo far away. Back to the corner and wishing for some miracle. :(

What did you ask that they said your case is with an adjudicator?

First off it took me like 10 different officers and 4 days to get this info. It all depends on the vsf officer you get. All I asked was that my case has been past the normal processing date and I have put in a service request and haven't heard anything back yet. Like I said depending on the officer you get they may look into your case or may refer you back to the customer reps. Also dont get your hopes up to much i dont believe half the thinks they tell you. Im more of a I'll believe it when i see it, mentallity. Good luck

I agree with everything you said. I've been pretty unlucky in terms of getting them to say anything about my case. And yes, I'll believe when I get it and that's why I am not too hopeful right now!

I should consider NOT hoping as well. It's probably the better approach, especially after the last few months where I constantly get my hopes high and then get disappointed when nothing happens and then get positive again....don't know what's wrong with me? :)

I guess that's my personality and always has been...I do need to check-in my hope and put in a hanger for the time being.

I am told that an officer is looking at my applications since October 28 and have not seen any touches or activity. I really hope that I get at least a 'touch' this week, but even that looks unlikely since I am told that the congressional unit at USCIS uses a 'whole different' system than the 'regular' adjudication units at USCIS. Apparently, someone from the 'regular' unit cannot see what's going with an application if it's with the congressional unit....argghhh...the freakin' agony.
