Post a news story of a non-white (historically) country which is concerned about not being inclusive enough?

Japan? They are definitely further behind the curve than we are but they have the same issues we do.

Good for you France.

You ever notice, it's always the (once) white countries which open their borders, Education and public

service facilities to people of every color..... that then beat themselves up for not "doing enough".

Why don't all the countries from areas like Asia, Africa, Middle East, etc who are not known for embracing Blacks... feeling such guilt? In fact, you ever read the travel warning for a lot of these countries?

* of course tourist dollars are usually welcome

where does it say that they are opening their borders? africa doesn't embrace blacks? asia, africa and the middle east are countries? are you sarah palin?

You missed my point (perhaps my fault).

Post a news story of a non-white (historically) country which is concerned about not being inclusive enough?

What's the point of that?

Comparing the U.S. to Japan on immigration is way too much of a stretch. You can't have a national debate on immigration and assimilation if the the number of immigrants is so tiny as to be insignificant. Most East Asian countries have never been immigration destinations and even now they have very few minorities. I can only think of Malaysia and Singapore as counterexamples in the entire region.

The ME is a great example of a region with a lot of migrants but they don't give a damn about being inclusive

Non-white doesn't necessarily mean third world.

And even if it did, what would that mean? That we can dismiss them as "not up to our standards of development?" (sensibilities)

This is the quiet racism which excuses one group for actions while holding

another -more aware- group to a higher standard.

Reagan sat in office for 2 years, Clinton did the same, Bush 2 years also. It is the way things are.

2 years?

Sorry I mean 2 terms.

Anyhow, when it comes to racism, Im not optimistic that it will end. Just lost hope.
