Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone is experiencing delays at NVC? My case is complete since Jan 3rd, 2006. according to NVC voice prompt, It is waiting for the interview to be scheduled. why is it taking so long? Does NVC run the background check, if so could that be a reason?

plz help.

I am assuming by your use of the words 'my case is complete' and that you heard this on the automated service, that you are CR-1. The reason you are still at NVC I would say is that because of the country the applicant is from has a long wait for interviews eg Philipines. If you were required to submit parts I & II of the DS-230 then NVC schedules the interview, so you just have to wait Im afraid.

All the best to you.
